Hang the swing from the supplied ceiling hooks at a load-bearing point, such as a ceiling joist, a wooden beam or a concrete ceiling. Never fix the hooks into plasterboard alone: in a plasterboard ceiling, fix them into a joist. If you are unsure about your ceiling, ask a professional. Adjust the rope length to suit your room and check the ropes and fixings regularly.

Outdoors: only the seat fabric is waterproof; the frame is wood and the ropes are cotton. Bring the swing indoors during long periods of rain and over the winter.

The cotton ropes supplied are adjustable and included in the price. For high ceilings or a higher hanging point, we offer made-to-measure ropes in the length you need, for an extra charge.
