Hanging and safety
Hang the swing from the supplied ceiling hooks at a load-bearing point, such as a ceiling joist, a wooden beam or a concrete ceiling. Never fix the hooks into plasterboard alone: in a plasterboard ceiling, fix them into a joist. If you are unsure about your ceiling, ask a professional. Adjust the rope length to suit your room and check the ropes and fixings regularly.
Outdoors: only the seat fabric is waterproof; the frame is wood and the ropes are cotton. Bring the swing indoors during long periods of rain and over the winter.
Important: use only under adult supervision. CE marked.
Frequently asked questions
What age is the waterproof baby swing suitable for?
It is suitable from 6 months and holds up to 25 kg. The high backrest and safety straps help hold your child in place. Always supervise your child while they swing.
Can the baby swing stay outside?
Not permanently. The seat is waterproof and resists dirt and UV light, so you can use the swing on the patio or in the garden. The frame and ropes are made of wood and cotton, so bring the swing indoors during long periods of rain and over the winter.
How do I hang the swing indoors?
Use the ceiling hooks supplied and fix them to a load-bearing point, such as a ceiling joist, a wooden beam or a concrete ceiling. Never fix the hooks into plasterboard alone; in a plasterboard ceiling, use a joist. If you are unsure, ask a professional. Check the ropes and fixings regularly.
What size is the swing?
The seat measures 35 × 35 × 45 cm and the cotton ropes are adjustable up to 180 cm. Leave enough space around the swing so that it can move freely.
What if I need longer ropes?
The ropes supplied are adjustable up to 180 cm and included in the price. For a higher ceiling or hanging point outdoors, you can order made-to-measure ropes in the length you need, for an extra charge.
How do I clean the waterproof swing?
Simply wipe it with a damp cloth. The waterproof fabric resists dirt, so it cleans up quickly.
What safety features does the swing have?
It has safety straps and a high backrest, and it is CE marked. Never leave your child on the swing unattended.
How quickly will my order arrive?
