Hanging and safety
Hang the swing from the supplied ceiling hooks at a load-bearing point, such as a ceiling joist, a wooden beam or a concrete ceiling. Never fix the hooks into plasterboard alone: in a plasterboard ceiling, fix them into a joist. If you are unsure about your ceiling, ask a professional. Adjust the rope length to suit your room and check the ropes and fixings regularly.
Outdoors: the seat is waterproof and the board is impregnated wood, while the ropes are cotton. Bring the swing indoors during long periods of rain and over the winter.
Important: no harness or bar, for children from 3 years who can hold on by themselves. Use only under adult supervision. CE marked.
Frequently asked questions
What age is the waterproof wooden swing suitable for?
It is suitable for children aged 3 and over and holds up to 75 kg. There is no harness or bar, so your child holds on to the ropes. Children should always swing under adult supervision.
Can the swing stay outside?
Not permanently. The seat is waterproof and the board is impregnated wood, so the swing can be used on the patio or in the garden. The ropes are cotton, so bring the swing indoors during long periods of rain and over the winter.
Can my ceiling support a swing?
Use the ceiling hooks supplied at a load-bearing point, such as a ceiling joist, a wooden beam or a concrete ceiling. Never fix the hooks into plasterboard alone. If you are not sure that your ceiling can take the load, ask a professional before you hang the swing.
What size is the seat?
The board measures 60 × 25 × 5.5 cm and the cotton ropes are adjustable up to 180 cm.
How do I clean the swing?
Simply wipe it with a damp cloth. The seat resists water and dirt, so it cleans up quickly.
What if I need longer ropes?
The ropes supplied are adjustable up to 180 cm and included in the price. For a higher ceiling or hanging point, you can order made-to-measure ropes in the length you need, for an extra charge.
Is the swing suitable for adults?
No. The swing is designed for children from 3 years, up to 75 kg.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days, and delivery within the UK usually takes 3 to 5 business days. Delivery costs £5.99 and is free on orders of £100 or more.
